Our Team

Larry Lundberg, owner of Squash Blossom Remodeling, is a guy with old school craftsmanship and modern ideas.  He loves to build, and has been doing this stuff since he was in college.  Larry’s years of experience and expertise enable him to offer prices that are lower than other contractors because he does it right the first time without making costly mistakes.  He also uses construction procedures, which time has proven to be the most effective.

Meet Larry Lundberg

Larry created Squash Blossom Remodeling after working in the design and construction industry for more than 35 years.  As owner of the company, customer service is his major priority; and, Larry is completely hands on when it comes to each and every project.  He loves to meet with prospective customers and help them envision the possibilities to create or recreate the home or room of their dreams.  Larry pays close attention to his customer’s requirements and learns about their personality, in order to design a space that solves their dilemma and fits their lifestyle.  He then customizes and tailors design work to meet his customer’s needs, obtains all necessary variances and permits, and works with engineers to assure the structural integrity of each and every design.

Early in his building career, Larry began as a laborer, carpenter, superintendent and project manager.  He went on to become project manager for Turner Construction, the largest building contractor in the U.S., and also worked for other large developers as tenant coordinator and project manager overseeing the construction of various strip and regional malls.  One of his most notable accomplishments includes managing the construction of Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, Washington – a successful indoor mall that houses 120+ retail establishments. During construction of Kitsap Mall, Larry became a local personality known for relying on a pair of roller skates to navigate his way throughout the 800-foot mall. This resulted in local and national coverage by the press, including a story on CNN.

When not on the job, Larry is a self-professed ‘news nut.’ He loves everything news and, on another note, enjoys a good game of darts.
